Why is losing weight so difficult?

Because it requires one to make behavioral changes which have been ingrained over many years.  What behavioral changes?  Fundamental is motivation and focus for an extended period of time.  From the book: “Those old habits how they cling; sheer tenacity is their thing.  To thwart their strength one must be bold and replace the old with something new.  Replace and repeat again and again, until the new becomes the old.”  More about behavioral changes next blog.
